If you have fewer than 15 people, come on in! Looking to host more friends for a gathering? We’re proud to offer unique, private events at each of our locations tailored specifically to your vision. Our semi-private spaces welcome parties of 15 to 225 guests. Our full, from-scratch kitchen in Shaw can provide the ideal dining experience for your event while our production brewery in Brookland can offer a fun and unique industrial vibe.

Events at Right Proper Shaw

Our full, from-scratch kitchen in Shaw can provide the ideal dining experience for your event, complemented with our house-made beer and full bar.

BACK BAR

ACCOMMODATES: Up to 80 Standing

  • The back bar is the spot for a cocktail-style reception. The space includes a long bar with a view into the brewery, as well as plenty of high-top tables.

FULL RESTAURANT BUY-OUT

ACCOMMODATES: 125 Seated / Up to 225 Standing

  • The full brewpub is available for larger events. With full access to both bars, the cheese counter, the dining room, and the patio, the space offers plenty of flexibility for a wide variety of events.

DUKE ELLINGTON ROOM

ACCOMMODATES: 24 Seated / Up to 30 Standing

  • The Duke Ellington Room is ideal for a seated lunch or dinner. This section of our dining room is separated by large brick pillars for a semi-private space. It features a beautiful live oak table that seats up to 12 guests. Adjacent tables can accommodate an additional 12.

HALF BACK BAR

ACCOMMODATES: Up to 35 Standing

  • All the perks of the back bar with half the space for a more intimate group of friends. This area includes up to four standing tables and half of the long bar with a view into the brewery.

Events at Right Proper Brookland

Our taproom and patio in Brookland offers a small quaint place for events with an industrial vibe. While we don’t have a kitchen at this location, we can cater from Right Proper Shaw, or we can provide a list of our food vendor and food truck partners.

PATIO

ACCOMMODATES: Up to 35 Standing

  • The covered patio has picnic tables and high-tops as well as toys for the kiddos. There are heaters for the cooler days and the space is well-lit in the evenings.

PRIVATE TOUR & TASTING

ACCOMMODATES: 10 - 40 Guests

  • Create a unique experience with a private brewery tour and guided beer flight.

FULL TAPROOM BUY-OUT

ACCOMMODATES: Up to 75 Standing

  • The indoor taproom accommodates about 40 people with an additional 35 in on the patio. Food can be catered from our Shaw location or you can partner with one of our food trucks.
